Striving to offer a home away from home for our residents, Brockhampton Court is a care home located in Brockhampton, just outside the village of Fownhope, between Hereford and Ross-on-Wye about 5miles from the M50 motorway. Our care home has 47 bedrooms all with en-suites, with personal telephones, television, and 24-hour call system. We offer a choice of single and double rooms, all with extensive views of the gardens, grounds, and surrounding countryside. We invite residents to personalise their rooms with their own furnishings, pictures etc.
Most of our residents choose where they dine daily for their meals. Residents may choose to dine in our elegant, panelled dining room if they wish to do so, or in the privacy and confort of their own rooms, if they prefer.
Family and guests are always welcome to visit and join us for meals on any day of their choosing. We respectfully request 24 hours’ notice to enable the kitchen staff to cater for adequate numbers.
Dining is also available on our beauitful Gallery with wonderful views of the surronding countryside, Families and visitor's can also join resident's in our Conservatory, for birthday celebrations and other events.
Our large care home offers a wide range of communal areas. While our ballroom is ideal for hosting celebrations and parties. The main hall is a wonderful place to relax on quieter days, whether you want to play Scrabble, read the paper, or simply meet up and chat with friends and relatives. The main hall resident's can sit around the fire with the William DeMorgan tiling.
We also have several rest areas. The Library is a smaller relaxing room in which resident's can enjoy Brockhampton Court. Upstairs in the main house, there is also a galleried library, and in the new wing, we have a spacious and light conservatory. Residents and visitors can help themselves to complimentary drinks and homemade shortbread in these communal areas.
Set in 10 acres of landscaped grounds in the glorious Herefordshire countryside, Brockhampton Court offers well-established gardens for residents and their visitors to enjoy. Our grounds include manicured gardens, a gazebo, a Victorian thatched summerhouse. Also, our pond contains an ornamental fountain, we have a Victorian wooden boat swing for visiting children to enjoy.
At Brockhampton Court we know that serving nutritional food is important to the health and happiness of our residents.
Our menus are varied and change regularly, with a focus on seasonal and locally-sourced food. All meals are prepared to the highest standard in our kitchen. All our food is homemade and freshly prepared on a daily basis by our experienced catering team.
Our residents enjoy three nutritional meals a day, additional dietary options are available, plus snacks as and when required. Homemade cakes and pasteries are served in the afternoon and are always extremely popular with our residents. Additionally, residents often have a glass of sherry before lunch and enjoy a glass of wine with Sunday lunch.
We actively encourage residents to call in at the kitchen to discuss their preferences, and of course to make special requests for their favourite meals and recipes. Typical menus for breakfast, lunch, and supper may include:

We want our residents to consider Brockhampton Court their home, and thus visitors are always welcome. Visiting is encouraged at all times as we have an open door policy.
During your visit, you are welcome to join your loved one in the day’s activities and enjoy a meal with them. We provide complimentary refreshments, free of charge, in the communal areas of our home.
